Eastminster's Staff Pastoral Staff
Brad grew up in Atlanta, GA one of four brothers. A graduate of the University of GA, he received his Master of Divinity in 1989 and his Doctor of Ministry degree in 1999 both from Columbia Theological Seminary, in Atlanta, GA. Brad is married to Nancy and they have three children.

He grew up in Eastminster Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church of Laurens. A 2001 graduate of Presbyterian College, he received his Master of Divinity degree in 2006 from Wake Forest University, Divinity School in Winston Salem, NC. Amos is married to Sarah Jones Disasa and they have one son.
Dr. James I. St. John Parish Associate 256-1654 Ext. 140 jstjohn@eastminster-pcusa.org Jim, a native Ohioan, graduated from Aiken High School and earned a BA from Wofford College and an MA from the University of South Carolina. After a college teaching career Jim earned his D.Min from Columbia Theological Seminary and served churches in Alexander City, Alabama, in Atlanta, and (for 20 years) here in Columbia, where he also currently serves a Chaplain of the Senate of South Carolina. Jim and his wife, Ann, live in Spring Valley. Their daughter, Melissa, and her family live in Vermont.
Jon a native of Starkville, Mississippi graduated from Mississippi State University. After graduation Jon took a position as Director of Student Ministries at First Presbyterian in Starkville, before beginning seminary at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2007. While at seminary Jon served at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church and at Glenshaw Presbyterian as a seminary intern and student pastor. Jon and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Forest Acres.
Jeff a native of Blowing Rock, North Carolina graduated from Montreat College, in NC and is currrently completing his Master of Divinity at the Charlotte campus of Union Presbyterian Seminary with graduation in December 2011. (This is a 5 year program, attending classes one day a week) Jeff is a candidate in Foothills Presbytery and has completed 4 of 5 ordination exams. After graduation from Montreat College, Jeff took a position as Director of Christian Education at First Presbyterian Church in Bennettsville, SC, and after 4 years there, he accepted a position at First Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg, SC to led the youth program. While in Spartanburg Jeff began seminary. Jeff and his wife, Angela, have two sons.

Croskeys was born and raised in Charleston SC, a graduate of James Island High School and Clemson University with a major in English. He earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Union Theological Seminary and the Presbyterian School of Christian Education (Union-PSCE) where he worked in the Newbury Center for Childhood Education (the on-campus preschool) as a student assistant for two years.
Croskeys is married to Carolyn Frederick and they have two children Audrey and Isabelle.

Fredna Lee was named choir director in February, 2008, after the retirement of Dr. Donald Gray.
Fredna has a Masters of Music Education from the University of South Carolina. While at USC, she studied choral conducting with Dr. Arpad Darazs and voice with Dr. Donald Gray.
Dr. Patrick Hawkins has been praised in the United States, Europe, and Asia for his sensitivity and musicality as a concert organist. Since winning a prize at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Convention of the American Guild of Organists in 1991, he has appeared as a recitalist in England, France, Germany, and South Korea, as well as at such American venues as the Washington National Cathedral, St. Thomas Church 5th Avenue in New York City, historic Trinity Church in Boston, and St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cathedral in San Francisco. Dr. Hawkins holds degrees in music from the Peabody Conservatory of Music at The Johns Hopkins University, East Carolina University, and Arizona State University. He has recorded organ works by Johann Sebastian Bach for the Arkay Records label, and this recording has been featured on National Public Radio's Pipedreams. During the 2009 academic year, he was a Visiting Organ Instructor at Newberry College. Currently, Dr. Hawkins is on the music faculty of Spring Valley High School and is the Sub-Dean for the Greater Columbia Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. | |||||||||||||||
